EcoEnergy Rebates
The popular EcoEnergy retrofit program was renewed by the Government of Canada and is in effect from June 6, 2011 until March 31, 2012. You can receive up to $5,000 just by making energy wise upgrades to your existing home. One of the best ways to save money and get money back from the government is by increasing the amount of insulation in your attic or crawlspace.
How to Apply
Visit the ecoAction website and register before making an appointment with an approved energy advisor. Follow the instructions provided to locate a service organization qualified to perform an energy assessment. Don't forget to have the follow up assessment done so you can receive your grant money.
